Job Responsibilities
- The main purpose of the Storekeepers job is to ensure the cost effective and timely receipt, storage, retrieval, and dispatch of goods by the assigned warehouse
- Principal Accountabilities * Performs various administrative tasks in support of the store activities
- Accountable for the proper inspection, handling, storage, and documentation of materials received from the suppliers
- Accountable for the timely issuing of materials and tools from stock to the project upon request, and for the proper administration of returned materials and tools by the Operations team
- Accountable for the proper storage of materials / tools / assets at the store and for minimizing wastage.
- Accountable for the accuracy of the inventory management system in the store
- Accountable for conducting periodic stock inventory, and reports.
- Provides maximum support to site management
- Maintains store records and information system
